More languages we know, the better we can understand each other. It is needed to overcome frontiers between languages and between people. Cuantos más idiomas sabemos, mejor nos entenderemos unos a otros. Es necesario romper fronteras entre los idiomas y la gente.

October/November celebrations
Did you know?
Halloween
In the year 835 AD the Roman Catholic Church made 1st November a church holiday to honour all the saints.
Another name for All Saints Day is 'All Hallows' (hallow means 'saint'). The festival began on All Hallows Eve, the last night of October.
5th November- Bonfire/Guy Fawkes Day/Fireworks Night
In England, the day of fires became 5th November (Bonfire Night), the anniversary of the Gunpowder plot in1605.
"Remember,
remember,
the fifth of November,
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
We see no reason why
Gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot!"
Guy Fawkes Rhyme

Bonfire Night and Halloween were originated from pagan times, when the evil spirits of darkness had to be driven away using noise and fire.
