St Patrick's Day is coming

Each year St Patrick's Day is celebrated on 17th March in Ireland.

Irish Blessings

"May your thoughts be as glad as shamrocks,
May your heart be as light as song,
May each day bring you bright, happy hours,
That stay with you all the year long."

May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets always hold a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you,
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you."
"May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields, and,
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand."

Valentines Day

Banco de Imagenes Gratuitas

A RED, RED ROSE
by Robert Burns ( Scottish poet)
O my Luve's like a red, red rose
That’s newly sprung in June;
O my Luve's like the melodie
That’s sweetly play'd in tune.

As fair art thou, my bonnie lass,
So deep in luve am I:
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
Till a’ the seas gang dry:

Till a’ the seas gang dry, my dear,
And the rocks melt wi’ the sun:
I will luve thee still, my dear,
While the sands o’ life shall run.

And fare thee well, my only Luve
And fare thee well, a while!
And I will come again, my Luve,
Tho’ it were ten thousand mile.
Oh my love is like a red red rose
that grows in June
Oh my love is like a song
That is sweetly played in tune

To you, my darling
So deep in love with you
and i will love you still, my dear
until there is no more water in the sea

Till the seas are empty, my dear
and the rocks melt with the sun
I will love you still, my dear
while the sands of life will run

And I will come again my only love
as though it were a thousand miles.

Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day is a holiday celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada. Thanksgiving is celebrated each year on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States.

Valentine`s Day

Valentine's Day falls is celebrated on February 14 every year.

Red and pink hearts are used for decoration.

Children make or buy cards to give to their friends.

Adults often gave cards to the people they love.

Friends may give gifts of candy, chocolate, flowers, or presents.

The cards given on Valentine's Day are called "Valentines." “Valentines” often have poems written on them.

One popular poem is:

Roses are red;

Violets are blue;

Sugar is sweet,

And so are you.

Valentine's Day is a good day to tell someone: "I'm glad you're my friend," or "love you."
